We are so excited to be hosting a brand new workshop on the farm featuring dried flowers!   Dried flowers have made such a comeback in the last few years transitioning from passé to trendy and are a great way to bring color and warmth into your home during the cold winter months when fresh flowers *almost* feel out of place. Dried flowers are a labor of love and we’re proud to offer ours without bleach, dye or any other harmful chemicals.  We grow flowers specifically for drying (these aren’t leftovers!) and harvest at just the right moment so they’re a prime, everlasting expression of the flower in full bloom.  The colors are nuanced and muted and are perfect for working with in the autumn.  Come celebrate the changing of the seasons and our final flower offering of the year with us!

The workshop includes:

  • Snacks! Warm apple cider and some light snacks!
  • Sam will lead attendees through her process of creating her dried flower bouquets.  It takes longer and a bit more technique to work with dried flowers than it does with fresh since the designs are everlasting and the stems can be fragile.
  • Info about how to care for your dried flowers to prevent fading.
  • Flowers! You’ll be working with enough flowers to make either one large bouquet, or two smaller ones.

Please note this workshop does not include a tour!

Date: Saturday, 11/4 (we will refund your money if it rains or if it’s super cold, but we will not reschedule)

Time: 1-3 pm, plan to arrive by 12:45ish

Where: 9112 Thaxton Rd Austin, TX 78747
